Resolutions…..

Positivity

So at the start of this year and the start of this blog. I wrote down a few things I wanted to accomplish this year. I may have forgotten about this list, just possibly… I did what I always do and get to busy and my priorities change and my list got pushed to the very bottom and then may have slide off the page and never seen again… until NOW! I was looking over the list and I have actually achieved more then I thought I would have.

Positives…

I am proud to say that I have either posted on this blog or written in my journal every day this year! (high 5 to me) This to some people will seem very small and insignificant, but to me its a big achievement.

I have also accomplished exploring my city. I have been out and about in Wellington and New Plymouth, maybe not as much as I would have wanted but still did some exploring.

I have also been really good with staying in touch with my friends. I’m sure there are people out there like me and are easily distracted… Im terrible with this and I will be texting or face-booking someone and I will disappear half way through the conversation as something else has caught my attention.. My Bad. But I have been much better the past couple month and have caught up with a lot of people I haven’t spoken to in long time.

Negatives…

What I haven’t accomplished is getting up early… I will have a few good weeks when i’m super productive and wake at the crack of dawn. Sadly I have more weeks when I laze around in bed till mid afternoon… Bad Louise!

I also haven’t exercised as much as I should have… Especially as I am in front of a computer screen for most of the day. I have however just joint the gym down the street and have been going to the yoga classes and using the pool for the past two weeks!

I hope if you have made some resolutions at the start of the year that you have either accomplished some of them or that this post reminds you that there is still time!

  1. haha yours are so similar to mine! Mine were read more books and make more friends/ keep in touch with friends. I am proud to say I accomplished both (though they’re not exactly hard accomplishments haha) and yes I agree waking up early is so hard my sleeping pattern is so off haha. :s
